Book - Around the Lighthouse

Around the Lighthouse is an intimate photo book about a year spent around the Workum lighthouse, where Reid and Cornelie lived with the seasons, the water, the wind, and the light.

Photographer Loek Buter, and grandson Jasper Hauser, followed their daily life for twelve months: the maintenance, the silence, the nature, the simplicity, and the small rituals that make this place so special. The result is a carefully designed book about self-sufficient living, family history, and a landscape that slowly changes with every season.

The book is produced as a premium hardcover edition, printed in Italy, with a linen dust jacket, blind embossing, pasted images on the front and back, sewn binding, and a bookmark ribbon.
