Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your copy of Around the Lighthouse (De Vuurtoren rond). If something is wrong with your order, please contact us and we will make it right.

Returns

You have the right to return your order within 14 days after receiving it, without giving a reason.

To be eligible for a return, the book must be in the same condition as you received it: unused, undamaged, and preferably in its original packaging. Please include your order confirmation or proof of purchase.

Items sent back without first requesting a return may not be accepted.

Return shipping

For regular returns, the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot refund items that are lost or damaged during return shipping.

If your order arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us first. In that case, we will arrange a suitable solution at no extra cost to you.

Damaged or incorrect orders

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If the book is damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong item, contact us as soon as possible at info@devuurtorenrond.nl with your order number and photos of the issue.

We will evaluate the issue and offer a replacement, refund, or another appropriate solution.

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will let you know whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be made to your original payment method. We will refund the purchase price and the standard delivery costs you paid for the original shipment. Return shipping costs are not refunded, unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item.

Refunds are usually processed within 10 business days after approval. Please note that your bank or payment provider may need additional time to process the refund.
